Carol's Mother's Irish Bread
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter
2 eggs
1 cup raisins
3 cups flour
4 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
Pre-soak raisins in warm water to soften
Cream sugar and butter
Add 2 eggs and mix
Mix remaining ingredients
Mix well
Bake 450 degrees for 10 minutes
Bake 350 degrees for 23 minutes
Size: 3 coffee cans or 2 regular bread pans
