Here's part one.
Breaking the rules!
This is one of the videos we make in our Ze Frank Video Workshhop at PodCamp Boston 2006.

Also posted to the PodCamp Boston Blog.
This video was recorded on a Canon S400 and uplaoded to Hipcast immediately after the recording. A higher quality version was also recorded with a Canon GL/1 to miniDV.
The beauty of what happened here, other than the fact that 15-20 people met in a room at PodCamp and within a half hour we had recorded three videos for Ze Frank, is that we captured a moment and posted it right away.
Some of our session was also audio recorded and I shot some video on a Nokia N93 cell phone too. Subscribe to this blogs feed to be notified of future videos.

Jeff Pulver was in town for his Video on the Net confence and came to PodCamp Boston. I caught up with him after he gave a talk.
I'm going to Video on the Net this week and I'll pay close attention to everything that Jeff says.
We met up later on and I had a great conversation with him about a lot of things including keeping Yiddish Theatre alive in New York.
Pulver spoke about how advertisers would find targeted video content more valuable than general.
He also talked about Tagged and Super Tagged Content. Kind of like being able to click on his Hawaiian shirt if you wanted more information.
Video on the net provides for rich communications and opportunities for backchannel conversations with producers. Networks are carefully watching what is going on in the vlogging world are going to take a leap to collaboration and interactivity while some will stick to the mass market old ways of doing things.
Don't use TV or network words to describe this because the FCC might come in and start calling video on the web TV and try to regulate it. We don't want that.

UPDATE:
Michelle Cummings has a beautiful voice. Check out her site, buy her music, tell her Steve sent you.
It was a unique experience to take a break and site back and listen to some beautiful music in the middle of the day. Great job on the sound system too.
That was shot with my MacBook Pro with it's inbuilt camera recording with QuickTime Pro and then immediately uploaded to Hipcast.
People were blown away that I could do stuff like this so easily. I showed how I upload videos and audio during a session. You can see how it's done with Hipcast over at the Hipcast blog where I post video how to's about using the service.
This great band Uncle Seth played on Day 1, and before their set was over I had uploaded one of their songs.
They told me that they were excited about podcasting and after seeing things like that they realized they were in the middle of something totally amazing and were so glad they came to PodCamp.
It was an groundbreaking conference...
