I really liked the band and after listening to the CD, really liked the song, "All Together Now." Later on, while going through all my SXSW photos, I thought that "All Together Now" would make a good soundtrack for a video featuring all the people I saw at SXSW.
I contacted the band and they agreed to let me use the song. Enjoy!

I was stopped from taking any more photos or video. At least 25 more people were shooting photos and video around me.
As Chuck Olsen says: That's what fans do. The genie is out of the bottle. The point is to capture and share fleeting moments.
When I went to buy Carol a white wine at the bar, the bar tender said, "You don't want to buy white wine here, it's terrible."
When we went up stairs to check out the view and stopped in the aisle for a second, the bouncer said, "Keep moving, you can't stand here." He said it in a Homeland Security type of way which assumed we were guilty of an offense much greater than stopping in the aisle for a moment.
When I was shooting this video, the bouncer told me to shut off the camera and if I took it out again I would be removed from the premises.
I guess he wasn't aware of Imogen's web site where it says, "we'd love to see your cameraphone pics and video clips of YOUR tour experiences! Why not post photos or video clips of Immi performing?"
There is a big disconnect here.
I won't be going back to Avalon any time soon.
From Imogen's site:
If you're new to Imogen's music, make sure you check out her official website www.imogenheap.com and also her myspace profile myspace.com/imogenheap where you can hear her music. And if you like what you hear, visit her online store for CDs, downloads and merch.
Imogen spends a lot of her time touring around the world and we'd love to see your cameraphone pics and video clips of YOUR tour experiences!
Why not post photos or video clips of Immi performing, you meeting Immi, you and your friends travelling to the shows, as well as shots of things such as posters advertising shows, fans queuing around the block, maybe you can even snap Immi's tour bus? We want to see anything that captures YOUR experience of the tour or Immi! Help us create a tour scrapbook with your trusty cameraphone!
Hide and Seek is from Imogen's album 'Speak For Yourself'

Thanks for those people pictured in the video:
Andy Jasenak, Amy Carpenter, Annaliese Rittershause, David Pogue (on keyboards).
Also thanks to Mark Wuerthner for shooting some of the car show footage. Thanks to the Participatory Democracy artists and Rick Pinchera for Vote Alley, Futuro Vote and Two-Headed Ed.
Thanks to The Thunderbirds.
And thanks for J.D. Lasica for asking me to be a part of this project.
My friend Dave Wildman is trying out for Mark Burnett's new reality TV show, INXS Rock Star.
I helped him make this application video.
We filmed it inside this really cool store in Cambridge called Absolutely Fabulous. It's run by Mara Kustra Loeber. She pulled all the display items out of the front window of the store, and that's where Dave set up to sing.
We had a little time beforehand to do a short interview, so to get out of the noise we went down the street to a little coffee shop. They had a great sound system with music playing, so that's some of what you hear in the background.
