Why Waste? Recycling in Boston

Click to Play
I interview Paul Gurspan of Special Project Management about his new company, Why Waste, formed to recycle waste from construction projects. I got rid of some old storm windows which are being recycled. The aluminum and rubber are being recycled and the glass goes to local glass blowers at Diablo Glass School.

Paul then goes on to tell us about his truck, a 1968 Mercedes Benz Unimog . Very cool.

I have been threatened by ADEQ and Navajo County for collecting recyclables.
Wood pallets stacked are "illegal".
Stood vertically, O.K. ??!!??
I still dumpster dive and have recycled 50 wheelchairs.

Great interview Steve! :)

I added it to my Harmony Magazine at http://harmony.holisticplus.org/archives/category/sustainable-living

Hope that helps to spread the word a bit! I live in Denver but I get out to Boston 3 or 4 times a year.

Thanks,
Robert Morgen :)
