Great mashup. Interesting exchange when Hillary got caught with a great response to her plagiarizism rebuttal last night.

I think it's often overlooked what speeches can do and have done. if "speeches", like books and words were only that and nothing more then call me crazy, but we'd have a VERY different world today. The very validity of politics is based on actions, true, but without speeches we're shooting in the dark. Personally, I would have liked to have heard more from Bush, since, as we all have learned, the man wouldn't know how to pronounce a three syllable word unless it sounded like BAR-BU-RUH. Anyway, my point is that words, like journalism, have a remarkable place in history AND within the context of actions, movements and revolutions. I also found this confusing, however. It made no clear stand, at least, from my point of view. Having just walked in on your blog, I am not sure the point you were trying to make here came through clearly.
