Broadcasting LIVE from the Mall
I was reading a post by Jeff Pulver about Personal Broadband Broadcasting Platforms while at the Chestnut Hill Mall waiting for Carol outside the Apple Store. I decided to broadcast live with blogtv.com. The Apple store has great free WiFi. Carol was with me and decided to capture this moment on video with my Nokia N95. The exciting thing about this is that is gives us a glimpse of what the future might be like when we have access to WiFi wherever we are. More than just test broadcasts from a mall, I see a future where real people will be able to share stories without the need for any intermediaries.

Very cool. The tools are beginning to emerge, aren't they... Soon we'll have a worldwide network of citizen journalists live reporting from their cell phones and laptops.
