Nokia N95 Product Rollout NYC
I attended the Nokia N95 product rollout in NYC and here are some moments i captured from the show floor. The main thing I learned is that Nokia is open. Open to developers and open to the future of mobile computing.

This video was shot with an N93.
Disclosure: Nokia provided the N93 cell phone to me, that this video was shot on, and paid my travel expenses to NYC. Nokia did not require me to write about the N93. All the opinions expressed here are mine alone and those of the people that I interviewed.

Very slick. The funniest part I couldn't help but thinking when you were talking to Laura was that she'll probably have more viewers and more coverage form Steve Garfield than her cable station in Mexico City will ever deliver.
Oh, and that's a nice phone, too. From the pricing on the net, it looks like it'll be about US$1,000 when it hits shelves... pricey, but maybe that'll push the N93 pricing down!

Wow, I hope Chris is wrong. (although no matter what the price, it will most definitely be out of my price range. :-(

Ha! You asked him if it supported RSS 2.0 w/enclosures!
LOL
Do you still aske that question of everyone?
Nokia has got to send me one of these. Because I litterally think mefeedia is ready to help them deliver on that "whole world in your hand" thing, or atleast the whole videoblogging world.
... and what more do you need. :)
BTW, like the new outro. Is that going to be a regular outro now.

Thanks for all the comments.
Michael:
I've been using that as my new outro most of the time now. It's fun.
For those of you who want to test drive an N93 head over to Nseries WOM World and follow the link on the sidebar under "Trial the N93"

Hi Steve
What is the difference between the n95 and the n93?
How does the video quality compare? Sound?
D
Posted by: Daniel | October 07, 2006 at 01:19 PM
N95 does not have 3x optical zoom.
N95 has 5 megapixel camera vs. 3.2 on the N93. That's for still photos.
Video should be similar quality...
Here are all the N95 specs.
I didn't get a chance to compare sound, but it's probably the same.

Hi, According to the press release, the estimated unsubsidized retail price for this Multimedia Computer - N95 - is 550 Euros excluding taxes. Meaning roughly USD 689 using today's exchange rate. So well below the $1000 USD.
Great video BTW! And Laura was cute, and is now world famous :-)
