The wireless was not as relaible as we'd like, so that's part of the reason for the poor quality of the video.

What I was doing was uploading the video from my GL2 over Firewire to my Powerbook and then up to audioblog.com

When you stream live video like that to audioblog, some throttling takes place. So that combined with the WiFi in the hall lead to stutters and dropouts.

BUT you did get to see the video of his speech just minutes after he finished, so for that, I think it was worth posting.

Just wait until a future where we'll all have reliable upload speeds and be able to stream all kinds of events live!

I did it the old fashioned way and recorded direct to disk. The link to my video can be found at neterity.blogspot.com.

Hand held so there are a few jitters etc. But good quality sound.
