Blogging 101: WordPress

Ethan Zuckerman, a fellow of the Berkman Center for Internet and Society explains how to get started with the WordPress based Blogsome.com blogging software.


Steps covered:
1. Create your blog's web address/username
2. Enter your Email address and Blog Title
3. Log on to your email and get your password
4. Log on to Blogsome with your username and password
5. Create your first post with a Link and text formating, em = bold and italic.
6. Publish

Yet another piece of brilliant video blogging. I had just decided to try WordPress because all the cool kids on my block are using it. I watched your video of Ethan's demo at around 00:45 GMT and I had my WordPress via BlogSome weblog up and running by 01:15 GMT.

i thought that str=bold and em=italic

You are right!

STR = STRONG => BOLD
EM = Emphasis => ITALIC
