The Carol and Steve Show Episode 5 - Wine Expo
Carol and I went out to the Boston Wine Expo yesterday where they gave out samples of 100's of wines from around the world.
Of course we took the opportunity to film an episode of the Carol and Steve Show.
We had fun using the video camera to capture our thoughts about the different wines. Hey, I met a guy with an audio tape recorder and he was taking note. I asked him what he was going to do with that audio and he said he was going to listen to it in his living room.
So I had to give him my business card and tell him that he should share that audio on an audio blog. There's so much media being captured out there, only to be trapped in people's living rooms.
I'd be so cool to hear audio, go to flickr to see pictures, see video from the same event. That's what I'd like to see.
As I mingled with people, my video camera encouraged people to talk. Maybe it was the wine, but I had a really fun time asking people to talk into the camera.
Lots of them want their 10 minutes of fame, even if it's on some guy's web site.

Living in York, PA we don't have wine expo's. I enjoyed watching your REALality show on your visit to the expo. Have watched all 5 episodes of Carol and Steve Show and enjoyed all.

great site....looks like we're neighbors :) Roche Bros. carries Dubliner cheese - I've been working a serious addiction for about a year. In fact...now I must go down to the fridge and snack on some. oh yeah.
