Butterfly in Motion Movie [ QuickTime 396 KB ]
I went to Apple today for a preview class on Motion.
Motion, as it's name implies, let's you create motion graphics for film, video and DVD.
Damian Allen taught the class. He's writing a book on Motion for Peachpit Press.
Damian brought along a butterfly to class for us to play with. We made it fly, and applied gravity to it to make it fall. That's the video you can see here.
After that we went on to apply behaviors and particles to the butterfly to do all kinds of amazing things like multiply the number of butterflies, make them reproduce, and add flashes and colors to them.
It was a great class.
