There are plenty of best film, best director and best actor awards, but only one best Comedy Film Honors, and they are given out at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival (USCAF) sponsored by HBO.Lost in Translation was good, but School of Rock was way funnier.
Bass and humor lovers can vote online for their favorite comedy film of 2003, which will receive the Bass Audience Award at the Festival. One lucky contest entrant will also win an entertaining trip for two to the 10th Anniversary of the Festival, to be held in Aspen, CO, March 3-7.
Through February 13, 2004, comedy fans may visit www.bass.com or www.hbocomedyfestival.com and cast their vote for one of the five finalist films: Lost In Translation (Focus Features), A Mighty Wind (Warner Bros.), Bad Santa (Miramax), School of Rock (Paramount) or American Splendor (HBO/Fine Line).
