I recently visited the Hess Collection Winery, where you can tour their modern art gallery, and sample their wines.
The art work was very modern. One of the paintings was covered with black paint on 95% of the canvas!
This window looked better to me. ;-)
While sitting on the grass at Millennium Park this afternoon, I looked up from the book I was reading, Just A Geek, to see a workman marking the lines on the football field.
The grass was so green and the sky so blue and the workman was walking along, part of the whole picture. Yes, a picture I thought, this would make a great picture. Aha! My wife has a new phone, the Treo 600, that has a camera in it!
So I grabbed the phone and took this picture. I think it came out pretty good.
Just took a new group of Boston photos and uploaded them to flicker.
The Jamaica Plain Garden Club held it's first meeting of the season on Saturday April 24th.
It was a field trip to the Forest Hills Cemetery Greenhouses.
We were taken on a tour by Brian King. Brian showed us around the greenhouses that were built in 1899. Inside the greenhouses, we saw many types of plants that were being propagated for Spring planting.
Here's a photo album of our tour!
