May 3rd Print Competition

BCC LATIMER PRINT GROUP Tuesday May 3rd at 7:15 pm
A special feature of this print competition - the last of the 2004/2005 season - will be that in the categories of Color Prints (Classes A & B) and Monochrome Prints, only macro images will be accepted.

Macro images are those in which the image of an object is larger than the object itself. In the remaining categories, Portrait, PJ, and Creative, all images that are normally accepted are eligible for competition.

Our instructor-presenter will be Nick Johnson. Nick is a professional and art photographer. He is master printer and is a co-author of an excellent, practical book on applying the zone system. He is a member of the faculty at NESOP. He conducts evening workshops covering the development of a portfolio, the Zone system and advanced dawork is lyrical and technically flawless. Nick’s technique is always in the service of the aesthetic vision.
